POSITION SUMMARY:

iCiDIGITAL is seeking an experienced, result-oriented, and dynamic Director to join our Business Development team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully acquiring new business for a digital agency or a consulting firm, will be a self-starter, and will enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment. The Business Development Director is responsible for identifying, prospecting, qualifying, and converting new services opportunities across digital strategy, creative design, and marketing technology implementation. Primary focus will be given to the west coast market and mid to large Adobe Marketing Cloud implementations.

As a Director within the Business Development team, you will:

  • Possess deep knowledge and expertise in digital marketing and technology domain, specifically, the Adobe Marketing Cloud, and be able to demonstrate how companies can leverage it to improve customer experience
  • Meet or exceed sales quota set during the recruiting process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with CxO and other senior level client personnel
  • Use consultative approach to come up with creative solutions and approach to problems
  • Be aware of competitive landscape and develop strategy to position iCiDIGITAL’s service offerings and drive revenue growth
  • Have strong executive presence and maturity
  • Stay on top of emerging strategies, tools, and trends across the digital landscape
  • Possess understanding of the competitive landscape and an ability to navigate an industry that is constantly evolving
  • Build deep, productive relationships with senior decision makers or executives at key partner companies in established and emerging markets
  • Speak in front of small to large groups
  • Represent iCiDIGITAL at industry, community, and other professional and networking events
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent track record (minimum 6-8 years) of relevant industry experience in business development
  • Experience executing successful large-scale deals
  • Experience negotiating and structuring complex work orders and agreements
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinker, and sound business judgment
  • Personal passion for digital marketing and other emerging technologies – committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and achieve success in the face of ambiguity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence internally and externally
  • Network of senior executives
  • Have strong executive presence and maturity
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Agency or consulting firm experience is a must
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position will require ~20-30% travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS REQUIREMENTS:

Common office/desk environment that involves long periods of time at a stationery desk with extensive computer work that requires repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
